The Weakness of Zeus

He is the powerful God of all Gods. Who saved his siblings from Chronus evil act. Zeus is now over all the Gods. He is the Supreme Ruler of all. But he also have weakness, her wife.

Zeus supports the Trojans while on the other hand, Hera supports Spartans. Because of Zeus' love for Hera, he can't interfere with her decision to support the enemy of the one he supports. Beautiful woman and lust are Zeus weakness that Hera have. Hera can easily seduce Zeus. Hera made a plan to defeat Trojans by not letting Zeus to support them. So she seduced Zeus and make love to him and she put Zeus in to sleep. Then Hera supports Spartans while Zeus is asleep.

When Zeus woke up he saw some Trojans were injured including Hector. So Zeus get mad to Hera but it didn't last because of his love to her and Hera denied that she supports the spartan while Zeus is asleep.

Love for Hera is the weakness of Zeus. Zeus is under Hera because of that love and Hera took advantage of his love.

Achilles cannot be a king

1. Analyze the character of Achilles as shown in Books 9-11. Are his decisions appropriate for a king like him? Why/ why not? What kind of warrior is he?

His decisions is not appropriate for a king, because of his pride and self confidence his actions against Agamemnon's insult is not an action of the king. He must consider all the sides and considerations before doing an actions.

He is a very brave warrior who fights for himself to make his own legacy a self centered warrior

1. Narrate how King Agamemnon shows stubbornness of heart in books 1-5.

· Cite modern day examples/people who display the same stubbornness of heart.

A king that wins most of his battle. He's intelligent strategies that make his a threat to any country. But he do all of this for him. He's selfish to the city and his men to their own victory. Desperate king who let his men do everything either bad or good to get what he wants. Love is under his power therefor he cannot be the greatest king.

Like our corrupt government officials who is overpowered by money. They lie on the camera just to make their names clean. Pay the evidences others have against them so their secrets remain secret. They influence their mens with their wrong doing just to attain what they want.
